Back to Thanksgiving! I told you all I wouldn’t forget about it, and neither should you! I’ve said my goodbyes to all the cool Halloween decorations I had up and boxed my costumes. I refuse to think about anything Christmas related and frankly, ABC Family is getting a little too excited about their Holiday commercials if I may say so. Yup! All of my focus for the next couple of weeks is on Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving alone (okay, so I have to think about other things like work, and safe driving, and probably laundry, but Thanksgiving is still at the top of my thought list).
I can’t wait for Turkey, pecan pie, mashed potatoes, warm biscuits, sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmallows…and I guess seeing my family (the providers of meals that I can’t order from behind a counter). Of course this year I’ve been deemed sufficient enough to start contributing to the food dish list, probably that job I acquired or something. So obviously I will be using my work to my advantage. And I’ll let a few of you in on a festive treat too!
Let me know in the comments section (1-2 paragraphs) what your Thanksgiving plans are and if you have any specialty Thanksgiving dishes that you make or a family/friend makes!! Maybe I’ll even try one out 😉 Next week I’ll pick FIVE winners to win this Grand Cornucopia Gift Basket with lots of delicious treats inside and a festive Thanksgiving container!
