Halloween Witches Hat Tower of Sweets $24.99; Product Code:94797

Spooky Scary! We’re getting frightfully close to Halloween and I couldn’t be more excited. Halloween has everything that’s good: crazy and creative costumes, Halloween candy, and an excuse to watch Hocus Pocus every day (dead man’s toe!). Is it just me, or are Halloween decorations even better too? First off, carving pumpkins; I have 3 pumpkins awaiting my skilled carving mastery (as soon as I find a design I like best online…). You’re guaranteed to find orange, purple, green, and stripes everywhere and on everything. And suddenly, putting off dusting is acceptable for Halloween décor purposes and not just because I’m too lazy to do it! I’m also pretty sure that I’ve been thinking up good Halloween costumes since last November. I’m kind of a DIY type of girl when it comes to costumes. When I was little, one of my aunts made me the gold dress that Belle wore in Beauty and the Beast, and I don’t think I took it off for a year. Since then, I have been trying to top myself every Halloween.

However, since it would be a lot creepier for me to go around door to door asking for candy without the presence of a child near by now that I’m past the prime trick-or-treating age, my costumes are reserved for gatherings or parties where I have to buy my own candy to bring (growing up is hard). I like to come prepared with candy, dishes, and gifts that people are going to be excited about. So you can be sure that I will be using my baskets resources in full force this Halloween…or just for myself, I can’t decide.
