Stars & Stripes Chocolate Covered Strawberries

June 26, 2012
fourth of july chocolate covered strawberries

fourth of july chocolate covered strawberriesEveryone loves chocolate covered strawberries, especially when they’re so seasonally decorated in the good red, white and blue! fourth of july chocolate covered strawberries

Our Stars & Stripes Chocolate Covered Strawberries are an absolutely decadent treat that will have you feeling more patriotic with every sweet bite. Fresh-picked and ripe strawberries are hand-dipped in and festively decorated to perfection. You’ll receive six strawberries hand-dipped in dark chocolate and decorated with red, white and blue candy stars. As well as six large strawberries hand-dipped in white confection and drizzled with patriotic red, white and blue confectionary designs.

I loved these decadent berries and felt a lot less guilty eating so many of the dark chocolate covered strawberries, convincing myself that since it’s dark chocolate it would be okay! I have no excuse for the white confection strawberries other than they were too delicious to resist and I wish I had about 20 more of them. I currently have a few freezing to enjoy later, they end up tasting like a strawberry chocolate smoothie.

With Fourth of July coming up soon, these chocolate covered strawberries would be perfect for a Fourth of July party dessert or a great party prize. Be sure to send these to any military relatives and families you know to celebrate the season, or just order some as a great treat to snack on with you and your family on your way to see 4th of July fireworks!

Orders come in 6 or 12 chocolate covered strawberries and require overnight delivery. fourth of july chocolate covered strawberries

Patriotic Caramel Apple with Candy Stars

June 26, 2012
fourth of july party candy apple

fourth of july party candy apple This Patriotic Caramel Apple from 1800Baskets.com is one of my absolute favorite summertime gifts to share with you all! With Fourth of July just around the corner, you need something festive and delicious to display at your patriotic bash. This candy apple gift screams red, white, and blue in a delicious way!

Every order comes with a large and tart Granny Smith apple which is hand dipped in rich, gooey caramel and covered with dark chocolate; if that weren’t enough, it’s sprinkled with red, white and blue star sprinkles and then tied with a festive red bow for finish.

These candy caramel apples would be great to use for a table centerpiece or to give out as a party game prize for your patriotic guests. I could see this as a cute “just because gift” for a friend or coworker.

If you have a sharp knife, you could cut this apple to be more shareable. I was sharing this with family and sliced into more bite size pieces for easier enjoyment of this super rich tasting dessert. I would have put pictures, but I couldn’t keep everyone away from it fast enough!

Whichever way you decide, I know you’ll enjoy this great summer gift!

fourth of july chocolate covered strawberries

fourth of july chocolate covered strawberriesWelcome back readers,

I promise I’ll hold off on the picnic blogs for a while now, I think I got it all out of my system (at least until I try all of your suggestions out). But please let me know if any of you try out your own picnic ideas or the delicious recipes featured last week, and send pictures! We have some winners to announce who can be our first to try out the picnic ideas. Congratulations to Jean C (June 14, 2012 at 8:18 pm), bessie burnsed (June 15, 2012 at 11:05 am), Ashley (June 16, 2012 at 5:19 pm), Kristen eby (June 18, 2012 at 1:11 am), and Jessica Beard (June 18, 2012 at 2:56 pm)! Please email your info to me at amariscal@1800flowers.com and I can send out your prize!

We’re so close to July, which is crazy to me because I feel like May was just yesterday! July is the month for camping, barbeques, and tons of outdoor summer parties. And we have our biggest summer party coming up: Fourth of July! What could be better than some fun in the sun, celebrating with red, white, and blue? Also a Fourth of July party means one of my favorite things about summer: Fireworks. There is something very right about enjoying something off the grill, a patriotic dessert and colorful fireworks against the night sky. So let’s get planning with some awesome Fourth of July party ideas! fourth of july party caramel apple

Our sister brand Celebrations has a great piece on decoration for a 4th of July brunch here. I think there are so many fun ways to incorporate the festive patriotic colors into your designs, like checkered table cloths with solid colored plates. Or utilize this fun and festive stars and lantern lights at your Fourth of July bash! (Both found at Target). Even better is this party gear kit with fun patriotic hats and décor!

This is going to be a very short post, because sometimes certain bloggers get very busy and also want to get more ideas from their very gracious readers!

In the comments section below (1-2 paragraphs) tell me how you would incorporate the following products (and the previous decor if you want!) in your own Fourth of July party! Five winners will receive the chocolate covered strawberries!

Have a great weekend of planning!

Celebrating Summer Fun Picnic Ideas

June 14, 2012
meat and cheese gift basket picnic

Welcome back readers,

Father’s Day weekend is here, and I spent the last few weeks drumming up gifts for Father’s Day, so I hope you have yours picked out by now! If not, you can always check back on our posts for some great ideas here, here, and here. Don’t forget the comments section for some really great ideas for Dad! For now I’ll announce our weekly winners and we’ll move on to one of my favorite topics: picnics! Congratulations to Pamela Hansen (June 8, 2012 at 8:23 am), Stacey Ellis (June 8, 2012 at 10:23 am), Jean C (June 8, 2012 at 10:28 am), Melissa (June 14, 2012 at 10:39 am), and Tiffany (June 14, 2012 at 3:24 pm)! Please send your shipping information to me at amariscal@1800flowers.com and I’ll send out your Crabtree & Evelyn® Nomad Traveler for Men.

meat and cheese gift basket picnicMy love of picnics is no secret, especially on here when we always have so many amazing gourmet gift baskets and food gifts to use for fun summer outings. Summer is in full force right now and I can’t imagine not wanting to enjoy the great outdoors, even if it’s just your local park or backyard and a basket of food. These days of nice weather will only be here for so long, and I’m dedicated to making the most of them. We’ve already talked about essentials to bring on your next picnic and a few fun dishes, but our sister brand Celebrations.com has so many delicious recipes for quick and easy finger foods as well as downright decadent desserts that I need to share with all of you!

Picnics should be about easy fun on the go. There’s no need to get super complicated with the meals you prepare or how much stuff you need to bring. Of course, that doesn’t mean that you can’t make them fun or seasonal. Which is why I’m currently obsessed with Celebration.com’s finger sandwiches collection.

You better believe that the Mini Grilled Cheese sandwiches will be a key player at all my summertime functions. Asiago, Parmesan, Fontina, Provolone, arugula, and truffle oil! I am in culinary heaven right now. I just bought a new bottle of truffle oil that I’ve been cooking everything in lately, so this is definitely my favorite sandwich of the set. Their Avocado and Tomato Finger Sandwiches are a close runner-up, because I have a lifetime commitment to all things avocado. It’s so simple, fresh, and you’ll never feel any guilt with eating your fair share of these delicate treats!

Check out more of their Tea Time and Finger Sandwich recipes here, and don’t miss out on their Top 10 Picnic Food Ideas here!

For a cute and creative dessert that I am definitely trying out this weekend, are Celebration’s Blueberry Cupcakes in a Jar. It looks decadent but also incredibly easy to make. I have a feeling I’ll be trying out all of their Cupcake Ideas here.

meat and cheese gift basket picnicGoing back to the simplicity of picnics, you can always find something you love with our collection of gourmet gift baskets. Every gift basket is packed with gourmet foods, sides, and fun treats inside for you to try out. And all items complement each other perfectly. Everything is there waiting for you to pick it up and go! Since it’s summertime, I’m leaning towards some fresh orchard fruit and cheese gift baskets, or flavorful and hearty meat and cheese gift baskets, and of course some very tasty wine gift baskets. Take any of these out for a gourmet getaway one afternoon:

In the comments section (1-2 paragraphs) tell me which of these gifts you would pick for your picnic and things you would pair with them! FIVE  lucky and random winners will receive the Lucca & Sons™ Deluxe Meat & Cheese Box!

How to relax on Mother’s Day

May 10, 2012
Mother's Day Mira Luna Wine Gift Basket

Mother's Day Mira Luna Wine Gift BasketWelcome back readers!

I hope you all enjoyed my Mother’s Day quiz last week! My mom would probably be an A. She’s tried to be more of a B, but let’s just say I feel safer being the one in the kitchen most times. There were a lot of great mom stories and memories in the comments section; sounds like you all grew up with some very special women in your lives. And for five of our commenters, they get even luckier with a delicious chocolate gift basket! Congratulations to Mary Cummings (May 4, 2012 at 5:06 pm), Janice Sloan (May 5, 2012 at 12:53 am), Janine White (May 6, 2012 at 1:19 pm), Jordan Robbins (May 8, 2012 at 3:06 pm), and Chris Hughart (May 10, 2012 at 4:42 am)! Please send your shipping information to me at amariscal@1800flowers.com and I can send out your Happy Mother’s Day Godiva Gift Basket.

Mother’s Day is this weekend! And if you remember from a couple of weeks ago, I promised my mom I would dedicate some labor time to her and help with gardening and some slight landscaping (yes, I’m already dreading waking up this weekend). Of course we all love our moms, they’re great and they do a lot of nice stuff for us. But no matter how much you like your mom, at some point this weekend you will be stressed out or go a little crazy (except for maybe all of you lucky spa-goers). It’s just the way that most holidays go, I didn’t write the rules!  This is a mom’s world and we’re just living in it.

So for all of you who will be just as exhausted as I will be this Mother’s Day, I found a few really fun drink recipes for you to enjoy (and I guess even share with your mom).

Tea Tini
A great drink for spring! You can use any sweet tea you prefer, but I think a nice fruity or floral tea would make this even better. I’m currently obsessed with Passion flavored Tazo Tea, which you can buy from any Starbucks.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 oz vodka
  • 1 oz sweet iced tea
  • 1/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • lemon wedge for garnish

Directions:

  • Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes
  • Shake well
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with sugar
  • Garnish with the lemon wedge

White Sangria
This is another great spring drink that will be refreshing and fun to drink. You can combine this with brunch or dinner. This recipe will serve 6 people.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup mixed colorful bite-size melon pieces
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crisp white wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 3/4 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime for garnish

Directions:

  • Stir melon and sugar together in a large pitcher
  • Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes to draw out the juices.
  • Just before serving, stir wine, brandy, and sparkling water into the pitcher
  • Add ice cubes to glasses. Fill your glasses with the sangria, spooning some of the fruit into each glass. Garnish each drink with a slice of lime.

Mango Iced Tea
Here is our non-alcoholic spring drink that the whole family can enjoy. I love anything mango, so this may be a repeat drink for me for the rest of the warmer months. This recipe is for one glass, but you can just double, triple, etc. the ingredients to serve more!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brewed organic green tea, chilled
  • 1/4 cup fresh mango juice
  • 1 tsp honey (organic honey tends to be a lot thinner and more easy to mix)
  • Ice cubes as needed

Directions:

  • In a large glass, combine the green tea and juice
  • Add the honey and stir well
  • Add ice cubes and serve immediately

Delightfully Decadent Tea Gift Basket

May 2, 2012

I couldn’t have come up with a more perfect name for this beautiful spring-time gift basket. The Delightfully Decadent Tea Gift Basket makes for the best tea-time gift set for anyone who enjoys the sweet spring season or a relaxing afternoon tea.

This tea gift basket is very striking at first sight, showing a softly woven lavender basket, with a gorgeous faux orchid floral decoration and pastel green ribbon bow holding everything together. It’s very feminine and embodies the spring season. Even better than its appearance are the many delicious and elegant surprises inside this gift basket holds inside. The most striking gift inside the basket is the 3-piece stoneware tea-for-one teapot, lid and cup set! I had no idea when I first saw the gift basket that it was an all-inclusive tea set; I thought it was only a decorated tea pot. This delicately decorated white and orchid tea set comes as a fitted set with the generously sized tea cup acting as base. I really enjoyed how the orchid decoration on the gift basket perfectly matched the detailed orchid decoration on the tea set. Also inside this lovely tea gift basket are Almond French Twists, which are small rolled cookies that go great with both tea and coffee. There is also a very helpful serving of DeBeukelaer® Pirouline® Wafer Rolls; a flaky and buttery outside with creamy chocolate centers. You’ll be happy they included so many wafer rolls if you’re sharing this tasty gift (like a certain nice product reviewer) or be glad there are so many cookies even if you’re keeping this all to yourself!

Inside the gift basket is a very large box of Eurostyle Biscuits, so buttery and delicious, and enough to fill up half of my cookie jar (after I ate about five of them)! Sticking with the theme of a delightful tea party in a gift basket, they’ve included Nikki’s® Teapot-shaped Sugar Cookies. So adorable and extremely delicious, these cookies make a perfect small sweet for your side of tea.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a tea gift basket without some delicious tea and honey! This gift basket includes a box of Twinings® Darjeeling Tea, which boasts a mild and relaxing flavor perfect for afternoon tea-time or a late night cup of tea. The Darjeeling tea is perfectly matched with the small Tiptree® Honey Jar that is also included, with a very sweet and organic taste.

The Delightfully Decadent Tea Gift Basket would be a really great gift for any tea lover or someone who is need of a relaxing afternoon. I could see this as being an excellent house warming present or better yet, an amazing gift for Mom! Add a nice bouquet of flowers, pastries, or extra boxes of tea to this tea gift set and make it an extra special bundle gift for Mother’s Day, Birthdays, or a “Thinking of You” present.

Flowers of Spring Wine Gift Basket

May 2, 2012
wine gift basket spring

wine gift basket springAll I have to say about this wine gift basket is WOW! Okay, I have a lot more to say about this gift; otherwise the blog post would only be that sentence.

This is the Flowers of Spring Wine Gift Basket (and also one of the many reasons I love that my job is writing about gift baskets). It is a beautiful wine gift basket that comes with two bottles of Blair Family® Red Table Wine, Cheryl’s Dark Chocolate Chip cookies (yum!), Butter Crisps cookies, Chocolate Crème Filled cookies, Eurostyle Biscuits (aka more cookies), one big flower shaped, frosted cookie, and then some Lentil Chips and Cheese Spread for when you’re sugared out! All of these gift basket treats are nestled tightly inside a gorgeous white metal gift basket that has floral decorated cut-outs on the top of the container. Of course, I want to talk about some of the individual gift basket contents that I thought were really amazing.

Being the nice person that I am, I shared most of the gift basket with my family.  First we opened a bottle of the Blair Family® Red Table Wine. I’ll be honest; I have a limited knowledge of wine. I can look up pairing information and taste wines and determine which bottles I like and don’t like. So it’s always a relief for me when someone else does the pairing for me, which is exactly what this wine gift basket does. This red wine is a bit heavy and has a layered taste of warm vanilla and a hint of coffee. Lucky for me, it paired perfectly with the arrangement of cookies. My personal favorite pairing would be the Butter Crisps cookies. I could also see this as being good over a dinner involving beef or steak. It seems to be one of those very complementing wines to whatever you pair it with. A very tasty wine as well, which is definitely what you’re looking for in a wine gift basket. Once again, more than grateful that this wine gift basket already took care of the pairing suggestions for me!flowers of spring wine gift basket

Obviously, I’ll have to talk about the cookies and my restraint to not eat every crumb from the gift basket. I had a taste of each cookie and immediately put them all in a cookie jar so that I would not be tempted. Inside the gift basket is a box of Cheryl’s Dark Chocolate Chip cookies which are crunchy, buttery and absolutely divine with the mixture of dark chocolate chips. The Chocolate Crème Filled cookies were a great surprise with the chocolate inside chocolate more fudge like. The Eurostyle Biscuits make great butter cookies and I would suggest a nice glass of milk with them to take down the crunchiness of the cookie. The Butter Crisps cookies were delicious, a lot larger than I thought they would be, and I nearly finished them upon opening the gift basket. I was very surprised with the flower shaped frosted cookie that is featured in the front of the gift basket. I checked out the nutrition information on the back of the plastic and discovered that it was made with all materials that I knew by name! (So rare to find in a sugar cookie these days) Wheat, eggs, milk, sugar, and flour all top the list of ingredients, and you’ll find other ingredients you can recognize as the list goes on. A very impressive cookie!

I only tried a little bit of the lentil chips and cheese spread, but they too are a perfect pairing for the two lovely red bottles found in this wine gift basket. The lentil chips were light and airy and the cheese very creamy. It was a perfect combination and just the snack needed after a sugar overload!

If you have anyone with a birthday coming up, maybe a housewarming party on the horizon, this is a definitely go-to gift that I would highly recommend. And who knows, maybe they’ll be just as nice as I was and share with you!

And five you lucky and random commenters will be able to have your own fun with this Easter basket prize. Congratulations to Lucy (March 22, 2012 at 3:06 pm), Sharmila (March 24, 2012 at 6:39 pm), Will (March 27, 2012 at 6:32 am), Arvind (March 27, 2012 at 1:19 pm), and Ben G (March 29, 2012 at 10:27 am)! Please send your shipping info to me at amariscal@1800flowers.com and I can send over your Flowers of Spring gift basket!

We have another week of Easter to talk about! Last week we pulled together some fun DIY activities and decorations to try out for your own Easter party, so this week I was thinking that we would talk about one of the more important aspects to any party: the desserts. Of course, this is mostly because I had a mini Cupcake War marathon the other day and have since been living on The Food Network website and drooling over every idea I see.

The way I see it, traditional and easy is always best. We can all go crazy on the decorating part after it’s made, but I think an easy to make yet incredibly delicious carrot cake would be a great main dessert for any Easter party (also this recipe is from Alton Brown who’s show Good Eats happens to be one of my absolute favorites).

Alton Brown's Carrot Cake

Alton Brown's Carrot Cake

What you need:

  • Unsalted butter (for the pan)
  • 12 oz. (approx. 2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour, plus extra for pan
  • 12 oz. grated carrots (medium grate)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 and 1/3 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 oz. plain yogurt
  • 6 oz. vegetable oil
  • Cream Cheese Frosting (store bought or see recipe below)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Butter and flour a 9-inch round and 3-inch deep cake pan. Line the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.

Put the carrots into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt in the bowl of a food processor and process for 5 seconds. Add this mixture to the carrots and toss until they are well-coated with the flour.

In the bowl of the food processor combine the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and yogurt.

With the processor still running drizzle in the vegetable oil. Pour this mixture into the carrot mixture and stir until just combined. Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 45 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees F and bake for another 20 minutes or until the cake reaches 205 to 210 degrees F in the center.

Remove the pan from the oven and allow cake to cool 15 minutes in the pan. After 15 minutes, turn the cake out onto a rack and allow cake to cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting after cake has cooled completely.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

In the bowl of a stand mixer with paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese and butter on medium just until blended. Add the vanilla and beat until combined. With the speed on low, add the powdered sugar in 4 batches and beat until smooth between each addition.

Place the frosting in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes before using.

Makes approximately 2 cups

If you’re feeling daring, try out these two other cake recipes from The Food Network and maybe send in some pictures! I’m really interested to see if anyone can pull off the Peeps cake!

Since you’ll be doing everything else on your own from the decorations, games to this awesome cake, I have a few suggestions of unique treats to order in as fun side desserts or table sweets!

My top Easter dessert picks:

Rich Easter Egg-Shaped Mini Brownie Cakes: So rich and “egg-cellent” (I’m sorry, I had to!) little cakes. They come in orders of 6 confection-dipped, Easter decorated brownie cakes and are easy to share and leave out as fun and festive treats.

Rich Easter Egg-Shaped Mini Brownie CakesHappy Easter Truffle Cake Pops: Just as delicious as the brownie cakes, these are our chocolate truffle cake pops decorated for Easter. They come in orders of 6 and you’ll be lucky if they last more than 6 seconds once you set them out!

DIY Easter Party

March 22, 2012
Easter gift baskets

Welcome Back Basket Readers,

Thanks for bearing with my late post earlier this week and the kind messages. Aside from some annoying allergies, I and my car are doing a lot better (who knew cars were allergic to pollen)! Also, congratulations to any of you who were lucky to win one of the truffle cake pops in our Facebook Sweet Spring Sweepstakes! Personally, I can’t be trusted to be alone with the cake pops for fear of eating them all and putting myself in a sugar coma; just know that I am very jealous of all of you who won. One more thing before we get on with the show, we’ve had a slight change in our shipping process over here and I know a few of you have emailed about your winning gift baskets. If you’re a blog winner who still hasn’t received their prize, please email me at amariscal@1800flowers.com with your name, the blog date you won and the gift, so I can track and correct anything that needs to be fixed!

Easter! It’s a great family holiday with lots of delightful treats to it. I’m also convinced that everyone wised up to the incredible egg and decided that we needed a holiday to celebrate how insanely delicious it is no matter what time of day it is (just go with it)!

I thought it would be fun to write about how to plan a DIY Easter party this week, so let’s jump in. Decorations are essential to any party, and lucky for us, I found this super cute, cheap, and easy idea to brighten up any Easter celebration. Modern Parents Messy Kids has come up with a creative way to use paint and pantone chips as colorful “DIY Egg Garland.” All you need for this easy activity is a hearty collection of paint chips (very easy to pick up at your local home improvement store!), scissor, hole punch, and string! Check out the blog for the DIY details, and enjoy this cute pic tutorial below: DIY easter party egg garland

Our Easter gift baskets make for festive and fun center pieces for your Easter party. Filled with lots of delicious chocolates and treats it will be hard not to touch, but you can incorporate them into the day’s activities as game prizes (see later in the post)! My top picks for the party: The Happy Easter Cuddle Plush Bunny Gift Basket, Flowers of Spring Gift Basket, and the Blooming Spring Sweets Basket. They’ll be extremely excited to win one of these great gift baskets!

So, Easter is pretty much the one holiday I can get away with eating all the deviled eggs I want without (too much) regret. It’s a holiday staple, but Foodjimoto offers a cute and simple “Doh! Why didn’t I think of that?” way to make them festive. Use the eggs that you color the night before for your deviled eggs! It adds a great pop of color and interest to a regular dish. colored deviled eggs for easter

You’ll need some activities during the party to keep it fun, especially if there’s an abundance of young kids with short attention spans!

  • Easter Egg Hunt (Duh, Alex!)
  • DIY Bunny Ears: Pick up a bunch of $1 head bands, pastel color felt (make sure to pre-cut it in bunny ear shapes), colorful pipe cleaners, glitter and durable fabric glue. Kids can glue the felt to the pipe cleaners so that they can shape the ears, decorate with glitter, and attach to the headbands.
  • Pin the Ears on the Bunny: Just like pin the tail on the donkey, but you know…
  • Guessing for Prizes: Fill some baskets or jars with M&Ms or foil-wrapped chocolates, let everyone guess the amount of pieces in there and reward the top 3 closest guesses with Easter baskets!

Well, there is more than enough to do here! But if any of you are still looking for more ideas, let’s take it to the comments and help each other out. In the comments section (1-2 paragraphs) let us know what sort of fun Easter activities (for adults or children or both!) you can come up with! FIVE lucky and random winners will receive the Flowers of Spring Gift Basket.

Happy planning!

DIY Easter Party!

Check out the blog for the DIY details, and enjoy this cute pic tutorial below:

You’ll need some activities during the party to keep it fun, especially if there’s an abundance of young kids with short attention spans!

· Easter Egg Hunt (Duh, Alex!)

· DIY Bunny Ears: Pick up a bunch of $1 head bands, pastel color felt (make sure to pre-cut it in bunny ear shapes), colorful pipe cleaners, glitter and durable fabric glue. Kids can glue the felt to the pipe cleaners so that they can shape the ears, decorate with glitter, and attach to the headbands.

· Pin the Ears on the Bunny: Just like pin the tail on the donkey, but you know…

· Guessing for Prizes: Fill some baskets or jars with M&Ms or foil-wrapped chocolates, let everyone guess the amount of pieces in there and reward the top 3 closest guesses with Easter baskets!
